Leicestershire is a friendly and well supported branch with around 150 members.
A full calendar of social events take place throughout the year including coffee mornings, treasure hunt, bowling and a summer barbecue.
Pleased to include the Chief Constable in our membership, we hold branch and committee meetings as well as a Christmas party at the police headquarters.
For many years the branch has hosted and managed our regional iconic event with a motor racing day held at Mallory Park near Hinckley in Leicestershire. Sponsoring the main event race, with the Peter Goodwin Memorial cup presented to the winner.
Always trying to ensure new members are brought into the branch members of the committee give presentations to all new cohorts of young police officers, PCSO's and special constables.
We have presented long service certificates to branch members living across Europe and as far as South Africa and New Zealand. What a truly international police Association we are!
